Our Team

Dr. Mason opened the practice in 2003 with a dream of creating an Optometry office where each patient is treated like a good friend.  She loves to be outside whether it's at home in her garden or in their 10 acre ranch in Paso Robles.  She and her husband, Roger, enjoy spending time with their family including 2 dogs and 2 cats.  She is a mom to 5 children and a grandma to 3 adorable little ones.

Dr. Michelle Cristi is an optometrist at Los Gatos Eye Care, Optometry & Aesthetics, where she delivers comprehensive vision care with a holistic, patient-centered approach. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry, graduating with advanced clinical training that included presenting complex case analyses at Grand Rounds. Dr. Cristi refined her skills through rigorous clinical rotations at diverse healthcare environments—including the Tinker Air Force Base Medical Group, VA Orlando Healthcare System, VA Monterey, and The Vision Health Institute. Through these multi-faceted rotations, she gained extensive experience in primary eye care, ocular disease management, neurorehabilitation, vision therapy, pediatrics, and specialty contact lens fittings. Committed to providing cutting-edge solutions, Dr. Cristi focuses on treating the "whole person" to optimize long-term vision health and enhance her patients' daily quality of life.
